A friendly lion with a multi-coloured mane. A kangaroo blowing kisses. The moon surrounded by stars, or a cloud with rainbow raindrops: Whatever the subject matter, artist, illustrator and designer Jennifer Bell’s colourful creations have been inspiring and bringing joy all over the world since 2008.
 
After graduating university with a degree in fine art, Jennifer went on to study graphic design that led to a career art directing around the world in the publishing industry. During four years spent in New Zealand she ran her own art gallery in the picturesque Wellington suburb of Island Bay and today continues to work as a full time independent artist from her sunny Queensland studio.
 
It was the arrival of a baby boy that took Jennifer’s work in a new direction. Motherhood brought with it a ton of inspiration and desire to create a range of colourful art and fun illustrations for children.

In the years since starting creative monsoon, Jennifer has produced hundreds of colourful illustrations that have decorated walls from Iceland to Africa. Creative monsoon’s goal is to inspire, to create art that makes people happy, and have fun doing it.
